dhspain.com is run by myself, Rob Deacon and my younger brother Tom Deacon. As far back as I can remember having fun was always holding on to a pair of handle bars. I grew up with my Dad and older brother both riding motor bikes. Tom really had no choice, receiving hand me down bikes and kit, there was only one way he was going.

After a brief spell riding xc we both saw sense and turned to downhill, racing in the old RAV 4 and midlands series'. After a few years a complete move to Spain was planned in search of a sunnier climate and relaxed lifestyle.

Tom stayed on to race in the UK, moving up the ranks to elite and now he is a regular at world cup events. 2007 saw him reach his highest position yet with 15th place at the Champery round in Switzerland. Tom has now made the move to Spain to run dhspain.com with me and to ride all year round in perfect conditions. Look out for Tom at UK races this year and give him a shout at the Fort William world cup.
